IntoTheMinds organises Design Thinking sessions in Belgium, France and Luxembourg and thus supports its clients in launching innovative products or services, in designing the customer experience and in improving customer satisfaction. A session generally lasts 2 days and brings together up to 20 participants working in small groups on real issues of the company or its customers.
At the end of the 2 days of Design Thinking, participants present their solutions, tested and refined. If the session is organised to solve a specific problem, the presentation of the results can also be a challenge. At the end of this challenge, the best project is chosen and then implemented by the company.

What is Design Thinking?
Design Thinking is a practical methodology for the development and improvement of new products or services. This method is based on a series of techniques that allow us to find ideas beyond the usual boundaries. It allows you to:
- understand users’ problems (“pain points”) based on different approaches rooted in observation, ethnography and behavioural analysis
- generate a large number of new ideas to solve these “pain points” using brainstorming techniques
- test these ideas with prototypes
- improve these ideas based on the tests of these prototypes
It is oriented towards pragmatism and the search for practical solutions where Design (in the general sense) plays an essential role in improving customer satisfaction. It requires a small group of participants (10 to 20) with diverse experiences within the company but a collective willingness to think and work outside the box.
Why use Design Thinking?
Design Thinking makes it possible, in a short time, to systematically analyse an existing problem or situation to arrive at a new and usable solution. It is a pragmatic and practical approach to address common business problems:
- reinventing the customer experience
- development of new products or services that better meet customer needs
- correction of issues with existing products or services
Design Thinking is based in particular on prototyping phases during which it is possible to test the generated ideas and improve them iteratively. This creative process is done in a cheerful atmosphere and sometimes leads to the creation of surprising prototypes, as shown in the photo opposite.
What does a Design Thinking session look like?
The session takes place in a friendly place, conducive to reflection and exchange among participants to generate new ideas. If you wish to do a Design Thinking session in Belgium, several options are possible, including the possibility of doing the session on our premises (see photo opposite). If you wish to hold a session in Paris, we also have premises in the 8th arrondissement that are perfectly adapted to this type of exercise.
Participants are divided into small groups of 3 or 4 people. The coach(s) will lead the workshop at each group’ level to accompany them in the implementation of the method. Exchanges are therefore frequent, and the coach guides the participants in the execution of multiple exercises. These allow you to;
- analyse the current situation (Part 1)
- use brainstorming techniques to mentally prepare for the generation of new ideas (Part 2)
- to really dive into an exercise aimed at providing a unique solution to the problem initially raised (Part 3)
- to finally choose the most successful solution that can be implemented by the company (Part 4)
Wherever you wish to organise a Design Thinking session, we will be happy to answer your requests and find a suitable venue for you.
